Serenity

I look into the clouds overhead
a dark fluffy blanket on the earth's bed
waking things I thought were dead
voices whisper, and I am led

Lightning Flashes through the sky
branching forks that seem to fly
Thunder echos, and stirs my soul
before the rain comes, I go inside

I listen to the music nature makes
So loud it sounds from heaven's gate
I fall asleep to the steady beat of wind and water
a serenity of it's own
